A team from Japan spent some time in a typhoon-devastated area of the Philippines to commune with Nazarenes who survived the catastrophe, and saw first-hand how God can bring hope and healing in the midst of trauma.
Freya Galindo, from Veracruz, Mexico, is among the first cohort of missionaries in the Mesoamerica Region’s Genesis initiative to be deployed to one of 28 selected sites to begin planting churches. Galindo will be serving for the next two years in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Lohuther Rene Gutierrez Méndez was deployed earlier in May as one of the first cohort of missionaries in the Genesis initiative charged with planting churches in one of 28 sites across the Mesoamerica Region in the next two years.
