The Choctaw team was only here for a short time (6 days), but they made the most of the time they were here!
This was my first time working with Gloria (team leader), Pastor Jason, and the Choctaw church. The team came well prepared, ready to work hard and serve wherever they were needed.
The goal of a typical Jesus Film team is to find a place to show the film where there is currently no church presence and create a new preaching point. However, there’s more to do than just showing the film at night. During the day, the team will work on a community project. The projects could range from cleaning up a community park, building a new structure in the park, working at one of the schools in the community, working on a house in the community, cleaning up around the community, and other similar type projects.
