An offering was received at the Friday Night Live NMI event at Camp Camby on July 27th for the “Illescas Project”. The Illescas Project is the current ministry of missionaries Josh & Shannon Herndon, serving in Spain. They recently moved from Madrid to Illescas, a city of 25,000 with no Protestant evangelical churches, with the intent of making Christ-like disciples among Spaniards.
Josh & Shannon have been visiting and beginning ministry in Illescas for a year and feel that God is calling them to live there. The goal of the Illescas Project is to provide a home for the Herndons as well as a center for Bible studies, child development programs, social events, English classes and the first Church of the Nazarene in Illescas.
Using the current exchange rate, the monthly allocation to successfully run this ministry is $1358.53 USD. Thank you for giving! For more info visit www.herndonmissions.com.
