Nazarenes in Damascus are holding strong in spite of the turmoil all around them, and are taking opportunities to minister to their neighbors and community during these uncertain times.
We need a set of Jesus Film equipment! We would like to purchase a set of Jesus Film equipment for our Work & Witness ministry. Harvest Partners (the Nazarene arm of the Jesus Film) has a new backpack set that would be awesome for our teams. I’m still trying to come up with the total cost of the equipment, but I believe it to be around $6,000. We have a couple of churches that I believe will help us with this purchase, but I don’t think we will have enough to purchase the whole thing.

I had an opportunity to visit one of our mission churches the other day. It’s located East of El Progreso, about an hour away from our campground. I went there to see if this sight would be a good fit for one of our teams. I had a chance to speak with the pastor and his wife, and we were able to see the property they are wanting to purchase for their new church.
The church itself has only been around for about one year. During that time the church has seen tremendous growth, and they’ve made a huge impact on the surrounding community. It’s a great story, and I wanted to share their story with you.
