We started our day with a nice devotional from Larry. He talked about sowing seeds and doing what God calls you to do, even if you don’t think you can do it. I can’t certainly relate to that!
After breakfast, it was time to get back to work… each morning we’ve been working from 7:00am to 8:00am, then going to breakfast, then resuming work at 9:00am. We borrowed this idea from the Chicago Central team. This allows the kitchen staff to sleep in a little longer instead of waking up an hour before the rest of the team.
